Dan Zimberoff

Daniel Zimberoff is a Shareholder of Barker Martin, P.S., a Pacific Northwest law firm that limits its practice to construction defect and homeowner association general counsel representation. His current practice focuses on complex civil litigation, insurance coverage and bad faith issues. Daniel is an active member of the Oregon/Washington Community Association Managers ("OWCAM") and the Washington chapter of Community Association Institute ("WSCAI"), where he has served on multiple committees for several years. He is a frequent speaker at community association, homeowner association and bar association seminars. Marlyn Hawkins

Marlyn HawkinsMarlyn Hawkins is a shareholder at Barker Martin and practices construction defect litigation and homeowner general counsel representation exclusively. Marlyn’s legal career has emphasized litigation in all aspects including a former stint as a King County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the criminal division and civil litigator. With extensive jury and bench trial experience, Marlyn also focuses on appellate advocacy and has argued before the Courts of Appeals and Supreme Court of Washington. Marlyn is actively involved in advancing homeowner rights through legislative committee work. Out of the office, Marlyn enjoys swimming, tennis and kayaking with her family. She practices primarily out of the Seattle office, but occasionally in the Portland office.
